| Sony has launched 4 new Blu-ray recorders in the Japanese market at the SONY Dealer Convention 2007. The Sony Blu-ray disc recorders are capable of recording HD on the Blu-ray disc with 24p true cinema, high-speed Hi-vision dubbing and AVCHD. support. The Sony BDZ-X90 boasts of a 500GB harddrive in it with a price tag of close to $1800 after the Yen -> Dollar conversion. The Sony BDZ-T50 has a 250GB HDD and is priced at $1200 and is the cheapest of the lot. The BDZ-T70 and BDZ-L70 have 320GB HDDs each and will sell at $1500 a piece. The latter is optimized for AVCHD video camera offering one-touch dubbing and hence the price of that being a bit higher than the Sony BDZ-T70.  |
