Asus has launched their new offering in India today through their Indian partners - India Digital Lifestyle Distributors Private Limited. The maximum retail price of the phone is about Rs. 27,900 so in the gray market you would probably get it for around Rs.22,000. Considering that other phones from Nokia with similar Communicator style are offered for a better price we really doubt how well this phone will do in the Indian market. The Asus M930 works with GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi , HSDPA, BLuetooth 2.0 and has a Usb 2.0 slot. The phone can be converted into a 3.5G modem with their factory settings having a quick setup button. This is something other phones can't offer, but isn't it too early to offer 3.5G ? We suppose so..The phone weighs around 158 grams according to their press release. Video telephony is also another good feature that the phone has. Along with a 2 Megapixel camera which isn't a big deal nowadays.
